Paid traffic

97 of every 100 paid visitors leave without a word. Here is what that costs.

Most businesses measure the clicks they buy and the forms they get. The gap between the two is where most of the money goes.

Run the numbers on almost any paid campaign and the same pattern shows up. A typical website turns about 3 out of every 100 visitors into an inquiry. The other 97 look around, compare, maybe check your prices, and leave. Your analytics records the visit. Nobody on your team ever gets a name.

The math nobody puts on the dashboard

Say you spend $15,000 a month on paid ads and that buys 5,000 visits. That is $3 a visit. If 3% convert, 150 people raise their hand, and the other 4,850 visits, about $14,550 of your budget, produce nothing you can act on.

Those visitors were not random. They searched for what you sell, clicked your ad and spent time on your site. Many of them will buy from someone this month. The question is whether you get a second chance at them.

Why more traffic is not the fix

The usual answer is to spend more. More budget brings more visitors, and the same 97% leave. Your cost per acquisition does not improve, it just gets bigger.

Recovering even a small share of the visitors you already paid for changes the economics. If a quarter to a third of non-converting visitors can be matched to a real contact, and a few percent of those come back through follow-up, your existing budget produces customers it was not producing before.

Start with your own numbers

Before you add anything, write down four figures: monthly visitors, your current conversion rate, your average customer value and your cost per acquisition. That baseline is what every result should be measured against. Our calculator runs the planning math in about thirty seconds.
